Pee-wee’s Big Apple iPad Adventure [VIDEO]

First he got hep to Twitter, and now the former children’s show star is embracing the newest advancement in the technological realm: the Apple iPad. Well, at least in this sketch dreamed up by Funny or Die.

After all the iPad buzz these last few days, the lampooning videos that are starting to emerge are a welcome relief. In this rather funny spot, Pee-wee receives a tablet from Jobs himself, and shows it off to the entire Playhouse gang. We’re not sure which we like better: the reference to Herman’s abstinence ring or Magic Screen’s assertion that the iPad doesn’t allow you to run two programs at once, a common complaint among iPad skeptics.
Either way, this vid is rather amusing. Check out how Herman ends up utilizing the coveted piece of hardware.
